Fraser Centrepoint Homes, in their zeal for a makeover for Yishun, out-bidded strong competition in September 2013 by a stunning 47% to clinch a prime location with the intention to develop NorthPoint City into the largest shopping mall in the northern part of Singapore.

NorthPoint City will encompass a much awaited mixed-development called the North Park Residences, the first ever Community Club situated in a shopping mall, an air-conditioned bus interchange, a new vibrant Town Plaza, a roof-top Community Garden and a public library. NorthPoint City – Seamless Connectivity

Residents of North Park Residences can reach Yishun MRT via an underground link tunnel from North Point shopping mall. This development is easily accessible via several expressways including Central Expressway (CTE), Tampines Expressway (TPE) & Seletar Expressway (SLE). NorthPoint City – Lifestyle Destination in Northern Singapore

It was opened in 2010 by Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. Another supporting institution, the Yishun Community Hospital will be built next to the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital to provide sub-acute, rehabilitative, dementia and palliative care to patients to alleviate the load of KTPH. It will come with 428 beds. Come end 2015, this spanking new hospital will “not allow patients to lie in bed” as this place is built with lots of greenery and space in mind solely with the purpose of promoting rehabilitation and recovery of the patients.

Recreational facilities like the Orchid Country Club, Seletar Country Club and Yishun Safra are within minutes’ drive to North Park Residences. There are many educational institutions located in Yishun and as such, is absolutely a family location for those with school-going children. Just to name a few, the schools are namely Chongfu Primary School, Chung Cheng High School, Northland Primary School and Yishun Junior College. North Park Residences will definitely be a magnet drawing home-stayers and investors alike who want to take advantage of its integrated mixed-development concept where practically everything is under one roof.
